Wrong Entrance Locations
The address on the bill of lading may lead to the main office, employee parking lot, customer entrance, or the wrong side of the property.
Dock Navigator helps truck drivers find the correct semi-truck entrance, understand facility check-in procedures, review dock instructions, and know what to expect before arriving.
Built to reduce wrong entrances, unnecessary searching, check-in confusion, wasted time, anxiety, and frustration before loading or unloading begins.
Receiving Location
A street address may get you close, but it does not always tell you where a semi-truck is supposed to enter or what the driver must do after arriving.
The address on the bill of lading may lead to the main office, employee parking lot, customer entrance, or the wrong side of the property.
Drivers may circle the facility, search surrounding roads, park somewhere safe, or walk around the property trying to find someone who can help.
Check-in procedures, staging locations, paperwork requirements, and facility rules are often not provided until after the driver arrives.
Every wrong turn, unanswered phone call, locked gate, and confusing instruction adds stress and wastes valuable driving time.
Enter from Industrial Drive using the south truck entrance.
Dock Navigator gives professional truck drivers access to important facility information before they arrive.
Instead of relying only on a street address, incomplete dispatch notes, online reviews, or word-of-mouth directions, drivers can review information published specifically for commercial truck arrivals.
Dock Navigator is designed to be simple, practical, and easy for professional drivers to use.
Find the shipping or receiving facility you are traveling to inside Dock Navigator.
View the truck entrance, check-in procedures, images, staging areas, and facility requirements.
Reach the facility already knowing where to go, what to do, and what to have ready.
“Less guessing. Less searching. Less stress—before the truck reaches the gate.”
— The Dock Navigator Promise
Dock Navigator was not dreamed up in a boardroom. It was created by a professional truck driver who understands what it is like to arrive at an unfamiliar facility without clear directions or instructions.
My name is Ryan Kaiser, Founder of Dock Navigator. I spend my days delivering and picking up freight at facilities across the Midwest. Like thousands of other drivers, I have experienced the frustration of arriving at a facility and not knowing which entrance to use, where to check in, where shipping and receiving is located, or what procedures need to be followed.
These problems create unnecessary anxiety, wasted time, frustration, and conflict between drivers and facility personnel.
After speaking with truck drivers, shipping clerks, receivers, warehouse employees, dispatchers, and facility managers, I realized that both sides of the loading dock experience the same communication problem. Dock Navigator was built to help solve it.
Dock Navigator helps everyone work from the same playbook.
